Baron Tennyson
Baron Tennyson , of Aldworth in the County of Sussex and of Freshwater in the Isle of Wight , is a hereditary British title belonging to the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award
The title was created for Alfred Tennyson on January 24, 1884 . He was a great poet of the Victorian era . He was made a Poet Laureate by Queen Victoria .
