Baron Wardington

Baron Wardington , of Alnmouth in the County of Northumberland , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

The barons' family seat was Wardington Manor near Banbury in Oxfordshire until 2005 and is now Lepe House near Exbury in Hampshire .

Award

The title was created on July 17, 1936 for the chairman of Lloyds Bank John Pease .

Today's title holder has been his younger son William Pease as 3rd Baron since 2005 .
