Barra del Chuy is a town in southeast Uruguay .
geography
The place is located in the area of the Rocha Department in its sector 5 on the Atlantic coast. Immediately to the north, the place borders on the neighboring country Brazil and the Arroyo Chuy , which forms the border of Uruguay. The town of Puimayen adjoins the coast in the south .
Residents
At the 2011 census, Barra del Chuy had 370 inhabitants, of whom 171 were male and 199 were female.
