Puimayen is a town in southeast Uruguay .
geography
It is located in the Rocha Department in Sector 5 on the Atlantic coast. Immediately to the north borders Barra del Chuy and then the neighboring country Brazil with the Arroyo Chuy as the border to Uruguayan territory.
Residents
Puimayen had 505 inhabitants at the 2011 census, of which 246 were men and 259 were women.
