Barrio La Coronilla , also known as Barrio La Coronilla - Ancap , is a town in Uruguay .

geography

It is located on the territory of the Lavalleja Department in Sector 1 and borders the departmental capital Minas in its southwest. To the north of Barrio La Coronilla rises the Arroyo Verdún flowing through the Cuchilla Grande , a left tributary of the Río Santa Lucía , while a few kilometers south of the village in the Sierra de Minas the source of the Arroyo Solís Grande can be found. There, with the Cerro de Águila , the Cerro de los Cuervos , the Cerro Blanco and the Cerro del Puma , there are several topographical elevations north of the area known as Abra Grande .

Residents

The population of Barrio La Coronillas is 301 (as of 2011), 155 of them male and 146 female. The Instituto Nacional de Estadística de Uruguay did not collect any data for the previous censuses in 1963, 1975, 1985 and 1996 .
