Bartın Spor Kulübü is a Turkish football club from the city of Bartın and currently plays in the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig .

history

Bartınspor was founded in 1935 and initially did not take part in the Turkish league, only football was played in the summer months. In 1963, the club was called Bartın Beşiktaş Spor Kulübü and took part in the regional game operation, until 1970 they played in black and white jerseys. At a general meeting in 1970, it was decided to rename the association under the name Bartınspor, which still exists today, and the association colors were changed to green and white. In 1972 there was a merger with Bartıngençlik Spor Kulübü , it was decided to keep the name Bartınspor, the club colors were changed again, this time to red-black.

In the years between 1970 and 1974, the club achieved first place in the regional league twice, and in 1984 it took part in professional play, the third division, for the first time. In the 1986/87 season they finished in 4th place and rose to the second division. There you could hold for three seasons before you had to relegate back to the third division in the 1988/89 season. In 1994 the club was relegated to the amateur class. In 1997/98 they made it to the 3rd division again, but then rose again, the following year the club had to start again in the amateur class.

After Bartınspor became champions in the amateur league in 2009/10, the club took part in the Bölgesel Amatoer Lig , which was newly founded by the TFF for the 2011/12 season. There they finished 5th at the end of the season and just barely missed the promotion ranks. Bartınspor has been playing in the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig since the 2011/12 season.
