Bartolomé Vargas Lugo
Bartolomé Vargas Lugo was a Mexican football goalkeeper who was a three-time Mexican champion .
biography
In the run-up to his first championship title in the 1912/13 season with CF México , he had displaced the previous goalkeeper Cirilo Roa , who then left the club. After winning the championship, Vargas Lugo temporarily hung up his boots to fight in the Mexican Revolution . After the end he went to CF Pachuca , with whom he won two more championship titles in 1918 and 1920.
