Basket Hilt on a Mortuary Sword

A closed basket variant that was used with several types of swords is called the Basket Hilt . Among other things with the types: Scottish basket sword, Schiavona and with most versions of the Mortuary Swords . Depending on the size and design, a distinction is made between the following variants:

  • "One-third Bakekt Hilt"
  • "Half Basket Hilt"
  • "Two-third Bakekt Hilt"
  • "Three-quarter Bakekt Hilt"
