The Tiermattgraben , called Dorfgraben on the upper reaches , is a six-kilometer-long left tributary of the Moder in the Bas-Rhin department of the Grand Est region of France .

geography

course

The village ditch rises in the Northern Vosges at an altitude of about 221  m northwest of Schillersdorf at the intersection of the D28 with the D105. It initially flows eastwards for about a kilometer along the northern edge of a forest. Then it moves away from the forest and runs through a landscape of fields and meadows, makes an arc to the south and then reaches the outskirts of Schillersdorf. He passes the village south-east and turns back a little later to the south. It now flows through an agricultural zone and is fed on its left by the Gittersbach and shortly afterwards by the Luetzelbach . To the north of Obermodern it finally flows into a tributary of the Moder as Tiermattgraben at a height of about 179  m .
