Batanga (also Bano'o, Banoho, Banoo, Noho, Nohu and Noku) is a Bantu language and is spoken by around 15,000 people in Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon .

It is widespread with around 9,000 speakers in Equatorial Guinea and around 6,000 speakers in Cameroon in the Océan district in the Sud province .

Batanga is written in the Latin script .

classification

Batanga is a northwest Bantu language and belongs to the Bube Benga group , which is classified as the Guthrie Zone A30.

It has the dialects Bano'o (also Banoo, Banaka and Banoko), Bapuku (also Puku, Poko, Naka and Bapuu) and Batanga.
