Construction equipment list

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the Baugeräteliste (short BGL ), all in the construction and site equipment commonly used machinery and equipment listed, along with the associated technical and economic data (without naming the brand or type designation). It is a recognized standard work in the building industry and is published by the Main Association of the German Building Industry .

The currently valid print edition dates from 2015 and replaces the previous edition from 2007. In addition to the print edition, an online database can be accessed for a fee.

The structure of the BGL is based on the EUROLISTE agreed at the European level . In this way, a Europe-wide comparability of the cost estimates is made possible and the cooperation of Europe-wide working groups is simplified.

Device key

Machines and devices are clearly described in the BGL using a multi-digit device code. Starting from the main device group, a further distinction is made between device group, device subgroup, device type, device size and additional equipment. The following example should serve to understand the key structure:

D.3.10.0050.AA - wheel loader with an engine power of 50 kW and a quick-change device
D. Device main group Equipment for earthmoving and soil compaction
D.3 Device group Charger
D.3.1 Device subgroup Front loader with tire chassis
D.3.10 Device type Front loader - wheel loader
D.3.10.0050 Device size Motor power 50 kW
D.3.10.0050.AA Additional equipment Quick change device

The device size is also referred to as a parameter and is used to differentiate within a device type. Parameters can be, for example, the weight, the load capacity or the engine power of a machine or device. Additional data, such as the mean new value and the monthly repair costs as well as the monthly depreciation and interest amounts, are assigned to the respective parameter.

Device main groups

The BGL is divided into the following 21 main device groups:

  • A - equipment for material preparation
  • B - equipment for the production, transport and distribution of concrete, mortar and plaster
  • C - hoists
  • D - equipment for earthmoving and soil compaction
  • E - road construction equipment
  • F - track superstructure devices
  • G - floating devices
  • H - devices for tunnel and gallery construction
  • J - pile driving and pulling equipment, equipment for grouting
  • K - drilling rigs, diaphragm wall machines
  • L - devices for horizontal pipe jacking and devices for pipeline construction
  • M - devices and systems for decontamination and environmental protection
  • P - transport vehicles
  • Q - Pneumatic equipment, pneumatic tools
  • R - devices for energy generation, energy conversion and energy distribution
  • S - hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic power packs
  • T - centrifugal and piston pumps, pipelines
  • U - formwork and armor
  • W - machines and devices for workshop use
  • X - Construction site accommodation, containers
  • Y - devices for surveying, laboratory, office, communication, monitoring, kitchen

use

The BGL is used in particular as an aid for construction companies and forms the basis for:

  • machine organization and disposition
  • offsetting storage and repair costs
  • Profitability comparisons for device usage and repair costs for individual devices or device groups
  • the offer calculation
  • the determination of the fair value (for example in the case of insurance damage)
