The Bauhaus Foundation Tel Aviv has been running a private museum in Tel Aviv on the Bauhaus theme since 2008 . It is located on the ground floor of a building in the style of International Modernism at Rechov Bialik  21 corner Rechov Idelson , which was designed in 1934 by the architect Shlomo Gepstein. The founder of the museum and sponsor of the foundation is the American millionaire, entrepreneur, art collector and patron Ronald Lauder . On 120 square meters designed by the architect and industrial designer Ron Arad , pieces of furniture and design objects as well as objects from the estate of Bauhaus architects and designers who worked and lived in Tel Aviv are shown. The exhibits, including exhibits by Mies van der Rohe , Marcel Breuer and Walter Gropius, come from private collections, mainly from the property of Ronald Lauder. The museum is open Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., admission is free. Diagonally across from Rechov Idelson  29, the World Heritage Center of the White City of Tel Aviv opened in Beit Liebling in 2019 .
