Building regulations list

The building regulation lists are publications of the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) relevant to building regulations . It lists the regulated and unregulated building products and types of construction introduced by the highest building supervisory authorities of the federal states, as well as the technical rules for building products and types of construction . It consists of parts A (part 1, part 2 and part 3), B (part 1 and part 2) and C.

The building regulations lists were updated every six months until 2015 and frozen as of 2015/2. The last important changes were made in 2016/1 and 2016/2. In 2018 the building regulation lists A, B and C were repealed. In place of the building regulations lists, the sample administrative regulation for technical building regulations is used .

Building regulations list A: Building products and types according to the state building regulations

  • Part 1: This part lists construction products for which there are technical rules (i.e. regulated construction products), the rules themselves and the proof of usability required in the event of deviations from the technical rules. The proof of conformity is identified on construction products by the conformity mark.
  • Part 2: General building inspectorate test certificate (abP) - The proof of conformity is identified by the conformity mark on construction products .
  • Part 3: General building inspectorate test certificate (abP) - On construction products, the proof of conformity is indicated by the declaration of conformity (from the user).

Building regulations list B: building products in accordance with EU directives

  • Part 1: Additional evidence of usability or compliance is possible. Proof of conformity is identified on construction products by means of the CE mark with information on the class or performance level. An additional conformity mark is possible.
  • Part 2: Additional proof of usability or compliance. On construction of the conformity evaluation by is compliance mark and CE mark indicated.
