Building stone at Mosterøyveien
The building stone at Mosterøyveien (also called full menhir) is a menhir . He stands in a front yard on the northern peninsula of the island Mosterøy or Mosterøya southwest of Vikevåg north of Stavanger in Fylke Rogaland in Norway .
The building stone is about 6.0 meters high, one meter wide and 20 cm thick. It tapers evenly towards the top and ends in a sharp point so that it looks like an arrow. The stone, visible from afar, stands straight and does not seem to have any damage.
About 1.4 km away is the Hodnafjell building stone and 3.1 km to the south is the Hedlehaugen building stone, which is about 5.0 m high .
