Building stone from Tveit

The building stone of Tveit is a menhir in Fylke Rogaland in Norway . It is just 2.0 meters from the road, on a hill overlooking the village of Årdal in Hjelmeland municipality .

The building stone from Tveit is one of 258 stones in Rogaland. It has a robust, weathered and rugged surface. It is about 1.7 meters high, about 50 cm wide and slightly narrower at the base.
