Bayer Study Foundation

The Bayer Study Foundation , formerly Fritz ter Meer - Foundation , promoted gifted German students scientific, medical, engineering science and information technology disciplines through scholarships .

In addition to professional achievements, a high standard was applied to the applicants' intellectual abilities and human characteristics when selecting the scholarship holders.

With the restructuring of the scholarship system at Bayer AG , this foundation was dissolved in October 2007 and transferred to the Bayer Science & Education Foundation .

Today's Bayer scholarship for the fields of chemistry, biology, pharmacy and physics is part of the Bayer Fellowship Program that has been in existence since 2007.
