from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Bavarian State Medal for Services to Health and Care is an award from the Bavarian State Ministry for Health and Care , which has been awarded since 2009 to people, associations or municipalities who have made services to health. It is usually awarded a maximum of 15 times a year.

The medal is made of fine silver and shows the large Bavarian state coat of arms on the front and a tree on the back. It is accompanied by a certificate and a pin with the large national coat of arms.

The Bavarian State Medal for Services to Health replaced the Bavarian State Medal for Services to the Environment and Health , which was awarded since 2004. With the spin-off of the Bavarian State Ministry for Health and Care , the State Medal was also renamed in 2014.
