Bavarian artillery commander No. 12

The artillery commander No. 12 was an artillery command of the Bavarian army in the First World War .

history

The command was formed by the Deputy General Command of the II Army Corps in accordance with the ordinance of the War Ministry of February 22, 1917. It was mobilized on March 18, 1917 and was subordinate to the 12th Infantry Division until the armistice .

After the end of the war, the command returned home on December 11, 1918, where it was demobilized and finally dissolved in Würzburg at the end of December 1918 .

On June 28, 1918, the following units were under the command:

  • 22nd Field Artillery Regiment
  • Foot Artillery Battalion 8
  • Ammunition columns 136, 137 and 138
