The Bavarian table Football Association (BTFV) is the Association of Bavarian table soccer teams and clubs and is based in Würzburg . It emerged from the former Bavarian Soccer League (BSL), which had its origins in 1999. The association was elected a registered association on September 15, 2007 at the founding meeting. It is divided into two departments that have grown for historical reasons. The southern department brings together the teams of old Bavaria. The northern department organizes the league operations in northern Bavaria.

Competitions

The BTFV is a state association affiliated to the DTFB . He mainly organizes the game operations in regional leagues . This includes the regional league, association league and district league. All leagues are played in a similar way to the Bundesliga system. A team represents a group of table football players. At least six registered players and two identical, approved football tables, uniform sports jerseys and a venue that is also accessible for minors are required. A game day is then played in 8 doubles and 16 singles mode. The first of the Landesliga Süd and Nord play the title of Bavarian Master at the end of the season. In addition, the best single and double players (men, women, seniors, juniors) are determined and selected at the annual Bavarian Championship.

Due to its great experience in the field of tournaments and tournament organization, the BTFV also offers event organization for interested parties. This usually includes the provision of tables and semi-professional table football players, as well as the organization of the tournament and the award ceremony.

successes

In 2008 the BTFV reached the 4th place of the DTFB country cup with its selection team. Two teams of the BTFV play in the 1st Bundesliga of the DTFB and thus in the highest league in Germany. Some players are among the top 100 in the world rankings .

aims

One of the most important goals that the association has set itself is recognition as an official sport. This requires functioning and verifiable youth work and a constantly growing membership structure. In terms of sport, we always try to play well ahead in national comparison. Various support programs are carried out for this purpose and special attention is paid to top players.
