Bavarian yearbook

The Bavarian Yearbook is an annually published, commercially produced "information and address book about authorities, ministries, associations and municipalities" by the De Gruyter Saur publishing group. Its full title always begins with Bayerisches Jahrbuch (year) . Contrary to the title, there is also detailed information about the Bavarian Parliament including all members of parliament as well as about supply institutions and various associations.

The Bavarian Yearbook has been published since 1990 with the Bayerisches Jahrbuch 1989/90 edition . The large information and address book ( ISBN 3-87249-170-9 ).

criticism

The Bavarian Yearbook is sold in bookshops and online (current retail price € 149) and is not ad-free. The publisher also offers the manual for a fee under its ReferenceGlobal brand for online access. Critics complain that official information on public life should be accessible free of charge.
