The Bavarian Pilgrims Office , based in Munich, is a Catholic tour operator founded by Johannes Neuhäusler in 1925 for pilgrims , hiking and religious study trips as well as cruises with a religious orientation. Destinations include the main pilgrimage destinations Rome , Lourdes , Fatima , Santiago de Compostela and the Holy Land with Jerusalem as well as hiking trips across Europe. Currently (as of 2017), the Bavarian Pilger Office, together with its subsidiary Bayerisches Pilgerbüro Studienreisen GmbH, which was founded in 1978, has around 130 trips within Europe, more than 20 trips to Africa and the Orient as well as long-distance destinations such as India and Mexico in the program. 200 tour guides and 150 spiritual guides are committed to this.

The Munich tour operator also offers special trips for groups, parish communities, choirs, church-related organizations and associations.

The Bavarian Pilgrims' Office is organized as a non-profit, non-profit association that was awarded the TourCert seal for sustainability and corporate responsibility in tourism in 2015. Auxiliary Bishop Wolfgang Bischof is the President of the Bavarian Pilgrims' Office .
