The Bayramiç Dam ( Bayramiç Barajı in Turkish ) is located on the Karamenderes Çayı River in the Çanakkale Province in northwestern Turkey .
The dam, located 4 km east of the city of Bayramiç , was built between 1986 and 1997 for the purpose of irrigation. The barrier structure is a 56 m (above valley floor) high earth embankment . The dam volume is 3.9 million m³. The reservoir covers an area of 6 km² and has a storage volume of 86 million m³. The dam is designed for the irrigation of an area of 15,800 ha.
