Bazhou (Langfang)
The city of Bazhou ( Chinese 霸 州市 , Pinyin Bàzhōu Shì ) is an independent city in the Chinese province of Hebei . It belongs to the administrative area of the district-free city of Langfang . Bazhou has an area of 801 km² and at the end of 2012 had about 630,000 inhabitants.
The relief of Bazhou is flat and slopes slightly from northwest to southeast. The Daqing He and Zhongting He rivers flow through it from west to east. Bazhou has natural deposits of oil , natural gas and geothermal energy .
The most significant architectural monument of Bazhou is the Longquan Temple from 1163.
Administrative structure
At the municipality level, the city is made up of seven large municipalities and five municipalities . These are:
- Greater community Bazhou (霸州镇);
- Greater community Nanmeng (南孟镇);
- Greater community Xin'an (信安镇);
- Greater community Tang'erli (堂二里镇);

- Greater community Sheng Fang (胜芳镇);

The city's seat of government is located in Bazhou Town.
