Beate Mahr

Beate Mahr (born January 1, 1950 in Halberstadt ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Mahr completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk. From 1994 to 2006 she was a member of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament , from 1998 directly elected to the Bad Doberan I state constituency . She became a member of the Petitions Committee in 1994 and chair of the Tourism Committee in 2002. She also worked in her hometown of Neubukow .

Mahr is married and has two grown children.
