Beate Rathmayr
Beate Rathmayr (born April 27, 1969 in Wels ) is an Austrian photo artist . From 2007 to 2010 she was president of the artists' association MAERZ .
Live and act
The artist, who has lived in Linz since the early 1990s , works as a project developer in the art space Goethestraße.xtd. After attending the Higher Federal College for Applied Arts in Linz , studied from 1989 to 1996 at the University of Artistic and Industrial Design in Linz , where she taught from 1996 to 1997 as an assistant in the textile master class. In 1995 she completed a year of study at the Hogeschool Rotterdam .
Since 2003 she has been a member of the artists' association MAERZ, where she volunteered on the board of the association. Since 2006 she has been curator and project development in the art space Goethestrasse.
Your artistic work extends u. a. in the areas of (color) photography, object art, slide projection, installation, copy art and screen printing. She mostly presents her works in group exhibitions, especially in Linz in the March gallery , in the Nordico or in the Lentos .
