The Beaune Painter (English Beaune Painter ) was an Attic - black-figure vase painter , who in the last quarter of the 6th century BC. In Athens . It was named by John D. Beazley after a stamnos in Beaune . The painter who belongs to the Perizoma group mainly painted stamnoi .
