Bechuni
The Bechuni ( Greek Βεχουνοί ) were an ancient tribe in the Alps . The ancient geographer Claudius Ptolemy mentions them in his work (3, 1, 32) and ascribes the cities of Vannia, Carraca, Bretena and Anaunium to them. They were thus at home in the Val di Non in northern Italy.
