The Beckstraße in Hamburg-Sternschanze is located 36 meters south of the extending parallel to August passage . The eastern end of the street leads into Sternstraße , the western end into the street Neuer Pferdemarkt .

Structural equipment

The street is a 180 meter long and 6 to 7 meter wide residential street with a paved road surface and sidewalks on both sides . On both sides of the street there are mostly continuous residential building passages along the entire length of the same construction, which were built between 1860 and 1899. There is a playground at the confluence with Sternstrasse . The end corner houses on both sides of the street Neuer Pferdemarkt are occupied by restaurants on the ground floor.

The houses Beckstrasse 2 and 4 as well as 7 to 21 are registered as cultural monuments in the Hamburg monument list.
