Kate and Malcolm give a party to which they also invite Jan, Nick, Susannah and Trevor, although Nick cannot for the said reasons.

Susannah and Trevor come to the party individually, as a falling out couple. After all, they really quarrel there and let the party break. Before that, Trevor and his former girlfriend Jan get a little closer again, they give each other a tender kiss, which is both embarrassing afterwards.

Back from the party, Jan confesses the kiss to her husband Nick, but he is only concerned with his back pain.

After he had to say goodbye to all the guests, Malcolm tries to cheer up his wife with a self-made cupboard, tinkering all night and only manages to scrap metal.

Ernest and Delia strive to repeat craziness from the past, which they do not quite succeed, but still have a lot of fun.

After the party, Susannah and Trevor drive from bedroom to bedroom, so to speak, to complain about their suffering, spend the night there, and finally find themselves together again in Malcolm and Kate's bedroom.
