The Beeby Peak is a 1,400 m high mountain in the northwest of the Antarctic Ross Island . It rises 3.9 km east-northeast of the summit of Mount Bird .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named the mountain in 2000 after the New Zealand diplomat Chris Beeby (1935-2000), who was involved in negotiations over the status of Antarctica for 30 years.
