“Beef!” (Original spelling: BEEF !; subtitle: for men with taste ) from the Hamburg publishing house Gruner + Jahr is the first food and lifestyle magazine on the German-speaking market that is specifically aimed at a male readership. The first edition was published on October 15, 2009.

Editor in Chief of Beef! has been Jan Spielhagen since the magazine was founded in 2009. Previously, Spielhagen worked, among other things, as editor-in-chief of the G + J magazine Healthy Living, which has since been discontinued, and as text chief and deputy editor-in-chief of men 's magazine. Birte Lindlahr, editor-in-chief of Beef! Since 2009, was appointed deputy editor-in-chief in October 2012. After completing her training at the Henri Nannen School , Lindlahr was among other things editor at Welt am Sonntag and until 2009 head of nutrition at the health magazine Healthy Living.

Circulation statistics

The paid circulation is 60,000 copies according to publisher, of which 25,000 copies to subscribers go.
