Beeton is a small town in southern Simcoe County , Canada .

It lies between Tottenham and Alliston and was merged with these two cities to form New Tecumseth in 1991 .

The region was first settled shortly before 1836 by a group of pioneers around William Hammill who had arrived in Canada in 1827. In 1852, a large piece of land in this region was bought by Robert Clark, a blacksmith, and a blacksmith shop opened in the area. He sold land in the area, paving the way for Clarksville, which was later renamed Tecumseth. Again later the city was renamed Beeton.

The city hosts an annual honey and garden festival.
