The single farmstead Behringer Schenke belongs to the district of Behringen in the town of Stadtilm in the Ilm district in Thuringia .

About one kilometer west of the town of Behringen is the Behringer Schenke homestead, which belongs to the district . The construction of the federal highway 71 separated the community and the property. history

In the available literature, no attributable evidence for the first documentary mention could be found. The restaurant was in operation until 1954. A machine rental station then moved into the homestead. From 1964 this was the seat of an improvement cooperative . The civil engineering and road construction company existed in 1991, the building with the restaurant was demolished shortly afterwards.
