The municipality of Beihu ( B , Běihú Qū ) is a municipality in the prefecture -level city of Chenzhou in the southeast of the Chinese province of Hunan . The municipality has an area of 815 square kilometers and has a population of 300,000 (2003). It is the center and seat of government in Chenzhou.
