The Beijing BD6 minibus is one of the many Chinese replicas of the Japanese Toyota Hiace . The model was manufactured from 2008. Since the last saved version of the manufacturer's website for the model dates from 2017, 2017 is assumed to be the end of production. The Beijing BJ6490A , which was produced until 2005, is regarded as the predecessor .

The vehicles sold in China have 105 kW G4CA gasoline engines with a displacement of 2438 cm³. The consumption of the engines is specified by the manufacturer as 12 to 13.7 liters per 100 kilometers. Although the engines in China are classified under the China IV emissions standard, Euro II was only achieved under the European evaluation. The tank holds up to 86 liters of petrol. Both models are only available with a 5-speed manual transmission. The top speed is 156 km / h.
