By 2002 introduced Beijing Qilong , the Chinese name for the Bangkok district Chidlom , the Chinese manufacturer leads Beijing Automobile Works its production of medium-duty trucks continued. The Beijing BJ-136 is considered to be the predecessor . The Japanese Isuzu N series provided the basis for development . The Qilong is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission.

For most countries, production takes place in the main Beijing plant.
