The language Bekwarra jezik (ISO 639-3: bkv; also bekworra, ebekwara, yakoro) is a Nigerian language spoken by a total of 100,000 people in the state of Cross River in the local government district of Ogoja .

The language is one of the cross-river languages , and within that one of the Bendi languages.

The language uses the Latin script , there are also radio programs in the Bekwarra language. However, the media are dominated by the English language .
