Bel Tempo is a novel by Bora Ćosić from 1982. The German translation was first published in 1998.

content

In essence, Bel Tempo consists of Serbian grandmother Laura talking to herself in front of the television. Various events and personalities are discussed, such as Hitler, Stalin or Charlie Chaplin. Laura's point of view reveals the historical image of a person socialized in Yugoslavia, since she also deals with Tito and Tesla and gives them great importance. The storytelling and choice of topics Laura is also very associative.
