Belat
The belat is a strong land wind on the south coast of the Arabian Peninsula (in southern Saudi Arabia and in Oman ). It is a relatively cool, dust and sand carrying wind and blows mainly from north to northwest. Belat occurs mainly in the period from mid-December to mid-March.
