The Belau National Museum ( BNM ) is a museum in Koror , Palau .

history

Former building (Japanese weather station)

The museum was founded in 1955, making it the oldest museum in Micronesia . It was originally located in the building of the former weather office of the Japanese Colonial Administration . The current modern building was built with support from the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) .

exhibition

The museum displays artifacts from the culture of Palau, art, photographs, sculptures and a replica of a traditional Bai (men's meeting house) with painted mythological representations.
