Belinga is a settlement in the Woleu-Ntem province in northern Gabon on the border with the Republic of the Congo .

There is an iron ore deposit in the municipality . It was prospected in 1895 and its volume is estimated at one billion tons. The deposit is believed to extend to neighboring Cameroon and the Republic of the Congo . In 2006, the China Machinery Engineering Corporation was granted a concession to exploit the iron ore.
