Woleu-Ntem is a province of Gabon with the capital Oyem .
geography
The province is located in the north of the country and borders Cameroon in the north , the Moyen-Ogooué Province in the south , Equatorial Guinea in the northwest, the Estuaire Province in the southwest , the Republic of the Congo in the northeast and the Ogooué-Ivindo Province in the southeast .
Woleu-Ntem is divided into the departments of Haut-Komo , Haut-Ntem , Ntem , Okano and Woleu .
history
As a result of the Morocco-Congo Agreement , the area of the district under the name Wolö-Ntem was an administrative district of the German colony of Cameroon from 1912 until the First World War.
