Estuaire ( German estuary ) is one of the nine provinces of Gabon with the capital Libreville . With almost 900,000 inhabitants, it is by far the largest province in Gabon .
geography
The province is located in the north-west of the country and borders on Equatorial Guinea in the north , the province of Ogooué-Maritime in the south-west, the province of Moyen-Ogooué in the south-east, the Atlantic Ocean in the west and the province of Woleu-Ntem in the east .
The province is divided into 5 departments:
- Komo (capital: Kango )
- Komo-Mondah (capital: Ntoum )
- Komo-Océan (main town: Ndzomoe )
- Noya (capital: Cocobeach )
- Libreville
