Benedikt Bittmann

Benedikt Bittmann (born June 6, 1959 in Graz ) is an Austrian chamber functionary, former politician ( ÖVP ) and managing partner of an electrical wholesaler. Bittmann was a member of the Styrian state parliament from 2000 to 2005 .

education and profession

After primary school, Bittmann attended the BG Lichtenfels for eight years before breaking off his training in 1980 and moving to the family-owned company Seitner & Bittmann. Benedikt Bittmann has been a managing partner in the electronics wholesale company founded by Bittmann's grandfather since 1990.

Politics and functions

From 1997 onwards, Bittmann was the finance officer of ÖVP Graz and subsequently became Vice President of the Graz Economic Association. He worked as the ÖVP industry spokesman and was a member of the Styrian state parliament between November 7, 2000 and October 25, 2005. In the 2005 state elections , Bittmann was placed in an uneligible position on the ÖVP electoral list and subsequently had to leave the state parliament after the election.

As a sports official, Bittmann was active at the Grazer AK for a long time . After previously serving on the board, he took over the role of president in 2010. In September 2012, he resigned as President shortly before gaming operations closed. In 2008 Bittmann was elected to the Presidium of the Styrian Chamber of Commerce, where he took over the post of Vice President.

Bittmann is married and has one daughter.
