Benjamin Bidder

Benjamin Bidder (* 1981 ) is a German journalist for Spiegel Online .

Bidder attended grammar school Nonnenwerth and then studied economics in Bonn, Mannheim and St. Petersburg. He is also a graduate of the journalist training program of the Institute for the Promotion of Young Journalists (ifp). He worked for the Märkische Oderzeitung (MOZ), the Financial Times Deutschland , and since September 2009 he has been the Russia correspondent in Moscow. In 2007 he was awarded the Peter Boenisch Memorial Prize of the Petersburg Dialogue . In 2018, Bidder received the n-ost reporting award for his contribution "Sascha is waging a little war".
