Benjamin Blazevic (born December 28, 1995 in Klagenfurt ) is an Austrian basketball player . He is under contract with the Bundesliga club Raiffeisen Flyers Wels .

career

In the spring of 2012, at the age of 16, Blazevic moved from the Wörthersee Pirates to the youth division of Bundesliga club Oberwart Gunners . In the 2012/13 season he made his debut in the Bundesliga, a few years later he also made appearances in the European Cup. At the end of 2015 he tore a cruciate ligament and had to take a break for months. In that 2015/16 season, his Oberwarter won the championship and the cup competition.

During the summer break of 2018, Blazevic moved to Raiffeisen Flyers Wels within the Bundesliga .

National team

At the U20 B European Championship in 2015, he was the top performer in Austria's selection with 14.3 points and 9.8 rebounds per encounter.
