Benjamin Koons (born April 9, 1986 in Dunedin ) is a retired New Zealand cross-country skier .

Career

From 2003 to 2011 Koons took part in competitions of the Fédération Internationale de Ski . His first of a total of four World Cup races he ran in December 2005 in Vernon , which he finished with 60th place in the 30 km pursuit race. At the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver , he finished 46th in the 50 km mass start race. His best placings at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2011 in Oslo were 62nd place in the 50 km mass start race and 20th place in the team sprint.
