Benkeloh is a district of the municipality Vahlde in the district of Rotenburg (Wümme) in Lower Saxony .

history

In a document from 1104 it is stated that in Benkeloh two hooves were transferred to the Katlenburg monastery in the domain of the Count of Northeim .

For the year 1848 it is stated that Benekloh was also called Drenloh and that it belongs to the Vahlde farmers . The place had seven houses with 49 inhabitants.
