Benoît Aymon

Benoît Aymon (born June 15, 1954 in Sion ) is a Swiss journalist .

After graduating from the University of Geneva with a degree in history and French in 1979 , he hosted the morning news program on Radio Suisse Romande . In 1981 he switched to Télévision suisse romande , where he presented the evening journal from 1989 to 1993 and was, among other things, interview leader for the program Table ouverte . From 1993 he was responsible for and presenter of the program Passe-moi les jumelles , the direction of which he handed over to Virginie Brawand in 2011 . He produced and realized two reality TV reports on mountain tours that were broadcast as part of Passe-moi les jumelles ( La Haute Route 2006, and Le Tour du Cervin 2013). In co-production with Arte, he was involved in the realization of the films Secours en Montagne (2001), Profession: Guides de Montagne (2003) and La Haute Route (2006).
