Benque Viejo del Carmen
Benque Viejo del Carmen (often just Benque Viejo ) is a small town in Belize, Central America .

Benque Viejo was founded mainly by immigrants from Guatemala in the 19th century. The city is located on the Mopan River near the Mayan ruins of Xunantunich .
